FIRST THINGS FIRST:
Wow, I can't believe I've waited almost a year to write in this journal of mines. I guess I've matured and grown to care about this unused module on my profile. Well, that doesn't matter since I'm writing in it now.



ABOUT ME:
Hello, my name is Timothy. Oddly enough, I prefer the name Timothy. Quite frankly, "Tim" isn't my favorite thing to be called. It sounds so... plain and ordinary. At least the "othy" adds a sort of flair and extraordinariness to it, I guess. Anyways, I'm 17 years old, soon to be 18 in October. I'm a fairly nice people person. I can be a bit private, but not intentionally though. You know how they say artists can be a bit emotional... well, that's certainly true of me. I can't count how many times my friends have asked me "Are you okay?" or "What's wrong", with the 9 times out of 10, I was in fact, OKAY! I guess I work on smiling more...


MY INTERESTS:
I think you can guess that I am into the Arts. Visual, of course. I like cartoon-proportioned type of art. Mainly Disney, GOD I LOVED DISNEY (We'll get back to that later. LOL I love to draw cartoons, or any type of simplistic and free-hand drawings. I don't really realistic things, or portraits (unless they're cartoony of course). I just LOVE to draw in general and I love to watch other people create and draw. It's absolutely amazing what many can do.

I AM A LEFTY, I COME IN PEACE:
By the way, I am left-handed. There are many myths about lefties, like they can predict the future or can sense something before it happens, and that happens to me a lot. Lots of times, I'll think about different movies or films that haven't been out in a while or no one really thinks about except from time and time, and then suddenly the movies I think about appear on the television. Weird, right? Well, just a random fact about me. LMAO



DISNEY DREAMS:
Ok let's cut to the chase: WALT DISNEY ANIMATIONS AND MOVIES! AHHHHHHHHH! I GO NUTS ALL THE TIME WHEN I THINK ABOUT DISNEY! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DISNEY! It is my freakin' dream to storyboard, animate, inbetween, produce, direct, edit, and experience with the Disney team. I know it's far-fetched but I don't ever stop dreaming. I believe someday I will be a part of a Disney dream coming true making a Pixar film or 2D film. Like the Blue Fairy says,"A dream is a wish your heart makes." I believe every word of it. I love to draw and sketch Disney-esque people and animals, picturing them in a dreamt Disney movie sequence and seeing how they stretch and move if it were animated. My inspiration is Disney's Glen Keane. I love Glen Keane because he's simply awesome. I sample his sketches and works all the time and copy his techniques and sometimes end up adopting them for the rest of my life. I adore his work, and hope he can see some of my works he inspired me to do and hear him say a job well done.

BUSINESS OF MY OWN:
Aside from Disney, I also enjoy making shoes. I mostly create on slip-on, white canvas shoes. I use gesso, acrylic paint, pencil, Sharpies, and opaque paint markers. I have perfected my method of desiging shoes and can share it with those who would like to try. I've made over 10 pairs of shoes, and had about 6 customers so far. Business is speeding up and the money I get with definitely go to my college fund. It's a fun and enjoyable way to get quick cash. I will upload more of my shoes since I've gotten more experiences with it (only the ones I'm proud of, of course) LOL I love making shoes and thinking of different designs to do. I love the fact that I can wear my art on my feet all day and showcase them throughout the day. It's very fun.

ANIMATION:
I LOVE TO ANIMATE!I don't have a lot of experience with it but I love to try anyways. I use Macromedia Flash MX and it's really fun to use. But, I've learned that I'm more into more hand-drawn 2d animation rather than Flash animation, so I have to find a cool 2d hand-drawn animation software, something like Walt Disney uses but cheaper of course. If you guys know any cool software for that kind of animation, hit me up and tell me about it!

THAT'S IT:
Well, that's my first journal entry and I'm proud of it! Hope you enjoy it and hopefully I update it in a timely manner.
